 One hamster is born!~ 

We name her/him: Miracle♀/Tobi♂ (gender unknown)

Today I heard a lovely sound coming from the cage, it was the sound of a small hamster puppy crying. Mama hamster was still energetic, and happy to show me her newborn baby~

As you can tell, there aren't enough hamsters for everyone.

 Please don't be sad or disappointed, I wish I could give everyone an adorable hamster, but as you can tell, I can not predict how many there will be born. Last May 2016 she had a litter of 5! Now just one 👶💕

 We will update this blog with pictures of Miracle♀/Tobi♂ growing up~ 💞

Re-homing fee

There will be a small re-homing fee of $5, -. Please understand that we cannot give them away for free, because there is a chance that they can become snake food.

Adoption

We are expecting our pups in December! There will be updates on this blog, as soon as the pups arrive~ After 3/4 weeks of birth, the hamster will be ready for adoption. We will send out a pick-up date to your e-mail, or hold your hamster until you are able to come. Please get all your hamster supplies ready by this time.

Pairs

Also, we don't sell pairs! Our only exception will be that you have a big enough cage, with two wheels, two water bottles, two everything. Cage size must be over 30''L+ x 12"W+, send us a picture through email before we approve of letting you order a pair. We don't want the sweet hamsters to fight or get hurt!! Please understand these requirements if you buy pairs.

We also give you an opportunity to pick your hamster. Limited hamsters are available since we cannot predict how many there will be born. A hamster can get 1 to 5 pups every pregnancy. With your pre-order, you will receive a number, that will secure your spot to receive a hamster. If your number is 1, your chance to receive a hamster is 100%. If your number 8, your chance might be 20%, but if a person before you doesn't reply back, the hamster goes to number 8.

Information and tips about Roborovski dwarf hamsters

What are hamsters, and are they for me?

Hamsters are the most affordable small pets because they do not require the occasional veterinary visit and they don't get sick often. (Please check hamster food list before feeding them unusual food)

For people who don't have time for pets, hamsters are ideal. You can watch them eat and play and they keep you company. They are nocturnal, so they will be awake at night and early mornings. If you are afraid that they might make noise during the night, we highly recommend to buy the flying saucer wheel. The one wheel that we don't recommend for a light sleeper is: The Comfort wheel. Also, make sure the wheel isn't hitting the wall of the cage, which can also lead to knocking sounds at night.

What do you need for a hamster?

Few basic things you'll need for your hamster are:

1. A cage, a cage can also be really affordable. I recommend to buy a clear storage bin at (Walmart/Kmart/home depot) and make your own cage! Drill some air holes and put mesh on the lid! Look for tutorials on YouTube! (‘’DIY clear bin for hamsters’’), and images on Google. Recommended bin size: 22"L x 15"W, doesn't have to be exact. Most pre-made hamster cages are way too small for a hamster to be fully happy.

2. Food (We have Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health for hamster & gerbil)
3. Water bottle (Cheapest found at Walmart for $2.80) 
4. Paper Bedding
5. Cage accessories: wheel (please, no metal wheels, this can be painful for the hamster paws), house and toys. (Toys can be also be made, from empty toilet paper rolls, which makes it really affordable!)

Say no to pet shops, breeding!

Why are we different from pet shops? We promise you, that there is no teen hamster pregnancy! No unwilling breeding, we spend time to play with them daily and give them both love. They will be home cared, and raised by hand. To be mom and dad were slowly introduced to each other since December 2015, and since that moment, they love to play and talk. Smelling and licking (kissing?), they love each other!

We also give you an opportunity to pick your hamster and sex F♀/M♂. Limited hamsters are available since we cannot predict how many there will be born. 
With your pre-order, you will receive a number, that will secure your spot to receive a hamster. If your number is 1, your chance to receive a hamster is 100%. If your number 8, your change is 20%, but if a person before you doesn't reply, the hamster goes to number 8.

After pre-ordering your hamster, you will be updated along the way. Picking out the hamster will be through pictures, 1 week after birth. When you picked out your hamster, please get all the supplies ready. 3 weeks after birth, (which is 2 weeks after being chosen) the hamster will go home with you.

A little bit about future mom and dad~

Mom hamster and dad hamster are 100% healthy, daily cared with love. Dad hamster (aug2015) is really cute and chubby, likes to eat and put food in his cheek pouches~ He loves eating dried meal worms and peanuts. Mom hamster(dec2015) is very cute and tiny, really active, jumpy, loves digging and is a fast runner! She loves eating oats and sunflower seeds.
